Screw diets!
Eat whatever you want, just portion yourself and make sure you’re active.

There are lots of 100 cal packs of snacks out there that you can use to satisfy that sweet tooth. Just don’t eat more than one pack. Remember, 1 bite tastes as good as 10. Good luck!

The number one cause of cravings is dehydration. Cut back on the caffiene, and drink lots of water.

You can chew sugar free gum or eat all of the celery and carrot sticks you want. A hot drink like black coffee or low cal soup will make you feel full.

Ignore the people telling you to eat gum. I’ve tried, it makes you hungrier. Drink lots and lots of fluids and it’ll fill your cravings. Milk is good for this purpose

I have the same problem as that. Whenever I get a craving for candy, I chew gum.
When I get cravings for fatty foods (pizza, cheese, etc.), instead, I eat fruits and vegetables. It probably sounds like it wouldn’t taste as good or satisfy the craving, if you try out a couple healthy recipes with fruit and vegetables, you’ll enjoy eating healthy, AND forget about your craving.
Or, if you really, really want to give into a craving, a smoothie ALWAYS tastes delicious and is good for you!
I know you said you don’t want to buy tea, but I think that green tea is relatively cheap and research shows that it really does help you lose weight.
Last thing I want to mention is, even when you’re dieting or trying to lose weight, you should eat at least 5 times a day. Not 5 regular-sized meals, but 5 meals/snacks with smaller portions. That way, you’ll keep your body energized throughout the day so it will keep burning fat.

You do have the willpower you just need to learn how to best cope with the way your cravings work.
If you want to snack when you go in the kitchen…avoid it.
If you nibble watching the TV, chew gum or have some green tea to keep your mouth busy.
Also if you have a really strong craving for chocolate… (i heard this a long tima ago and it works) have a pickle. or something completely different as it messes with ur tastbuds and kills the original and worse craving.
Brush your teeth often, the mintyness is a good way to put you off food for a while.
If boredom is the main trigger maybe stop and recognise that when you suddenly get the urge to eat. Realise that its boredom not hunger thats the problem and go and do something that will keep you busy. good luck xx

1. Find ways to occupy yourself so you don’t get bored.
2. Before you eat ANYTHING, ask yourself why you’re eating it, and if it’s not because you need nourishment, DON’T eat it!
3. Drink a full glass of water and wait ten minutes when you’re tempted to eat between meals. It’s also good to do this before meals so you’ll eat less.
4. Eat more protein. Snack on things like nuts and eat more fiber, which keeps you feelings fuller, longer.
5. If you’re tempted to eat out of boredom, do crunches instead, or call a friend, or read a poem, etc.
6. Make sure you’re eating enough healthy food because if you deprive your body of too many calories, it will freak out and your cravings will be off the charts. Don’t drastically change your diet too quickly. Ease into better eating habits.
7. Tea can help, but I’m not selling it and it doesn’t have to be woo-laei It could even just be warm water and lemon or whatever you like, it may be easier than drinking a glass of water and many teas are loaded with healthy antioxidants.
8. Listen to your body, but more importantly get to know your body and what it needs and what it DOESN’T need and gain some confidence in yourself to be disciplined. It may sound silly, but you may need to chant something to yourself in your head like “I CAN be a disciplined, healthy eater.” or whatever it is that you need to change. Tell yourself that you’re capable of it and you will be.
